Tracy Stevens – Child & Youth Coordinator

Summer Children’s Centre – Parents are welcome to take their children to the Children’s Centre,  Infant/Toddler Rooms, but please note that, during the summer,

these rooms are not supervised.  During this time, children should not be left unattended in the Children’s Centre, Infant/Toddler Rooms.

September through June, all children are invited to attend Sunday School @ BSUC where a faith-based, children’s curriculum is presented each week.  As we gather in the Sanctuary for worship, children are welcome to start their day at their special “Children’s Corner” where they can colour/work on themed activity sheets.  After the children’s hymn and our Minister’s lesson-based “Children’s Time”, they are invited to go downstairs for Sunday School, led by Tracy Stevens, BSUC’s Child & Youth Worker.  (A staffed Crib/Toddler Room is also located downstairs for children aged newborn to preschool).

Our children’s program isn’t just about your kids, it’s also about you.  For roughly an hour a week, we take over the spiritual upbringing of your child while you have an opportunity to reflect on God’s plans for you.  While you attend worship services, your children will experience a sun-filled room staffed by our Child & Youth Worker.

Our program is planned and organized, where children experience that there is a rhythm in life, a history and reason for our beliefs, and a sense that they are part of something greater than themselves and their families.

A staffed crib/toddler room is also located in the lower level of the building for newborns and younger children.  Ask our Sunday Greeters for directions to the Crib Room.
