Rev. Dr. Harold (Hal) Wilson, B.A., B.D.M.R.E., D. Min, D.D.
After serving Bridge Street Church as Minister for over 25 years, the
congregation awarded Hal Wilson the title of Minister Emeritus both to
recognize his quarter century of dedicated service and dynamic leadership, and
to maintain an on-going connection with him after he retired in 2005.
But Hal didn't stay retired. In addition to providing active leadership in a
variety of community service endeavours and continuing his private practice in
bereavement counselling and grief management, he also continued his service to
the United Church by providing short-term supply ministry to various
congregations in the Bay of Quinte area. In 2006, one of those assignments was
at Picton United Church, where he now works two-thirds' time.
