2019 Concert Series

In April, Andre Knevel (organ) and Liselotte Rokyta (pan flute) headlined the “Spring Celebration Concert” – the first in a series of seven concerts planned for 2019 at the historic Bridge Street United Church known for its superb acoustics and massive Casavant organ.  In June:   David Shewchuck, violinist, and Mitchell Cox, pianist, performed “It Takes Two to Tango”, and Command Performance Choir performed “Sweet Nostalgia – Songs from our LP’s.  The Toronto Men’s Welsh Choir performed on September 29; the soprano and organ duo of Valerie Hall and Kerry-Anne Kutz will perform on October 20, and organist, Murray Baer, will be reprising his Popular Hits concert on November 10.  The series ends with Bridge St. United’s Christmas Concert and Singalong, December 22.

    • PIPE ORGAN EXTRAVAGANZA!– Sunday, November 10 at 2:30 p.m. Come and hear one of Eastern Ontario’s largest pipe organs “ROCK” in an unconventional organ concert featuring music from BACH to BROADWAY to BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY and much more!  This is a concert you won’t want to miss!!  Organist Murray Baer “pulls out all the stops” on this magnificent pipe organ.  Before moving to Prince Edward County in 2016, Murray was a church Organist and Choirmaster for many years in Richmond Hill.  But according to Murray, “There’s only so much you can do on a Sunday morning!  This concert really allows me to let loose and see how much fun we can have with a fantastic pipe organ.”  ADMISSION BY FREEWILL OFFERING.
