Two decades of making furniture taught Robert that in this life he and dust were never going to get along. Dust won the the first round, Robert moving on to spend several years with the Algonquin Lakeshore Catholic District School Board. Then he saw the Bridge Street ad. “The instant I saw it I knew I was perfect for them, and they were perfect for me”, he says.

“There were several things that appealed. It’s a significant responsibility – a large church, a chapel, gymnasium, and a number of offices and conference rooms. If there’s a problem or an issue, it’s my job to spot, and what I liked most of all, my job to fix.”

Robert joined the Bridge Street staff in late 2006.  He is responsible for the general upkeep of the church property, but also for staging and coordination of event logistics.
